These seven trompe l'oeil figures were created, with oil on dummyboard, to surprise and delight Kenmore's
visitors. A vital part of the new exhibit, Built to Last: Building and Preserving Kenmore, the
figures introduce the public to the "real people," the patrons and the craftsmen, who built the house
over 200 years ago.
